ATLANTA — July 9, 2025 — The Frederick Douglass Freedom Alliance has named Michael Lancaster, a grassroots leader, as its Georgia Ambassador to advocate for Biblical values in civic policy and educate communities, particularly within the Black community. With a Bachelor’s from the University of Virginia and a Master’s in Education from the University of Georgia, Lancaster brings extensive experience from mentoring youth in South Africa and serving as Georgia state president for the Frederick Douglass Foundation.

Lancaster will lead educational initiatives and policy advocacy, focusing on empowering citizens through informed civic engagement. As Southeast Regional Director for the Douglass Leadership Institute and a board member of Choose Life Georgia, he will promote policies supporting faith, freedom and pro-life values.
