Fredrick Douglass Freedom Alliance Appoints Dorian Francis as Communications Director

WASHINGTON, August 6, 2025 / — The Fredrick Douglass Freedom Alliance (FDFA) today announced the appointment of Dorian Blaine Francis as communications director. Francis will report to Troy Rolling, president and co-founder, and will lead the organization’s strategic communications efforts to advance its mission of promoting biblically based policies and empowering communities across the United States.

Francis brings extensive experience in media production, strategic messaging and digital storytelling to the role. He served as a videographer and communications assistant at Bowie State University, where he honed his skills in video production, live broadcast management and strategic outreach. His work also includes contributions to media platforms, including The Black News Channel, BPALiveWire and The Armstrong Williams Show, where he has produced impactful media content for diverse audiences. Additionally, Francis has built a strong following as the host and producer of The Sportsfanatic Podcast, available on platforms such as Apple Podcasts and Spotify.

“Dorian’s proven expertise in crafting compelling narratives and engaging diverse audiences makes him an invaluable addition to our team,” said Rolling. “His leadership in communications will play a pivotal role in amplifying our mission and expanding our reach.”

Francis holds a Bachelor of Arts in communication, specializing in broadcast journalism, from Bowie State University.
