Darrell StephensLITTLE ROCK, AR – August 28, 2025 – The Frederick Douglass Freedom Alliance (FDFA) proudly announces Darrell Stephens as its newest ambassador in Arkansas. With a distinguished career dedicated to empowering individuals with disabilities, Stephens brings a wealth of experience in job coaching, career facilitation, and community engagement to this vital role.

A Little Rock native, Stephens has spent over a decade advocating for Arkansans with disabilities. As the owner of Stephens Solutions, he has provided job coaching, resume building, and career development services, helping individuals access employment opportunities and educational resources. His work with the Arkansas Department of Career Education and Rehabilitation Services from 2006 to 2014 included roles as a Program Manager, Job Coach, and Career Facilitator, where he built strong relationships with businesses and organizations to support inclusive employment.

Stephens’ expertise extends to strategic planning and community involvement. A certified Job Coach and Career Development Facilitator, he has a proven track record of coordinating impactful events, fundraising, and recruitment initiatives. His leadership as President of the Arkansas Black Caucus (2015–2017) and Darrell Stephens Grassroots (2013–present) underscores his commitment to advocacy and community development.

A graduate of the University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff with a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Stephens is also an active member of the Martin Luther King Commission and Ambassador for Peace. His dedication to fostering inclusion and opportunity aligns seamlessly with FDFA’s mission.
