KALAMAZOO Mich. — July 9, 2025 — The Frederick Douglass Freedom Alliance has named Dr. Tamara Mitchell, D.P.A., as its Michigan Ambassador to serve as a key liaison to urban communities, faith-based organizations, conservative elected officials, candidates and the state Republican Party. With extensive experience in public administration and community engagement, Mitchell brings expertise and dedication to fostering connections between government and diverse groups.

In her role, Mitchell will develop training programs for volunteers and candidates, focusing on voter outreach, policy advocacy and grassroots organizing.
