The Frederick Douglass Freedom Alliance, founded by Dr. Timothy F. Johnson, Rev. Dean Nelson and Mr. Troy Rolling, is a national grassroots educational organization that brings the power of free market and limited government ideas to bear on some of the greatest problems facing our nation.

Who We Are
The Frederick Douglass Freedom Alliance (FDFA) champions limited government and forward-thinking solutions to today’s most pressing challenges. Inspired by the noble legacy of Frederick Douglass, we are dedicated to promoting public policy and supporting political candidates that empower citizens and strengthen communities.
As a national grassroots alliance with chapters across the United States, we emphasize Biblical and constitutional conservative principles. Our Alliance believes free market principles and limited government intervention are essential in creating vibrant communities where families thrive.

Why We Exist
Building Strong Communities Rooted in Freedom
We exist to equip our members with the tools and resources to maximize their impact on public policy and the culture. Our activities include prayer times that uplift one another, monthly Leaders Live events, community forums, workshops addressing current issues, and civic engagement campaigns. The Frederick Douglass Freedom Alliance is dedicated to honoring Douglass’ legacy and building strong communities rooted in freedom.
